Not trying to play devil's advocate, but this thread makes me wonder:

How many refs actually watch the NFL during the season. I can't imagine that they watch too many full games or, at least, not to the degree that we do where we know all of the subtle nuances and player customs.

I only ask because everyone's saying the ref should know what Cam wants to do with the ball. Is there someone that puts the refs on to what certain players do post-touchdown?
