The amount of money I lost because of those corrupt/incompetent replacement refs
It's not just the refs in major sports. I coach wrestling at a middle/high school level and even at this level they make regular mistakes. There is nothing more frustrating than having two referees interpret the same situation in completely different ways.
I've reffed matches before so I understand it's a difficult job, but they need to do a better job of maintaining consistency. That's not too much to ask for.

refs are making their decisions in real-time...you sitting at home, have the luxury of multiple angle slo-mo replays while you sit on your couch and sip beer....
these cats do a good job under the circumstances....
and for the record: in every level of sports people complain about the refs...
i was at a high school baseball game a few weeks ago and people were complaining...every year dads are fighting in the stands at 8 yr old football leagues...
