remember nique actually had a decent jumper and he was averaging nearly 30 a game. nique today would be listed at 6ft 8. i know that ain't giannis height but plenty taller than MJ and equally athletic

i know MJ didn't guard nique naturally, but they played each other many times and went at each other here and there. taller nikkas hated to guard MJ cuz his first step was just too fast. smaller and quicker guards had better success against MJ cuz they are much quick to react.

Obviously.

Jordan never faced freak hybrid talents like the way the league is now.

6'5 point guards?

7' point forwards

Now you take Giannis with Reggie Miller's shot and trash talk and you might have the greatest player of all time.

Cats back then just fit the role they were assigned and developed those skills based on it. So MJ never saw a KD type but this is MJ we’re talking about. He would find a way to win against anyone.

Reggie is 53rd all-time in career 3-point %

There are 18 players in the league currently with higher career 3-point% than him.

He was great for his era but he would barely be a top 5 shooter if he played today.

REGGIE TOOK AND MADE CONTESTED SHOTS...

THESE DUDES TAKE WIDE OPEN THREES ALL GAME IN THIS ERA.

I SAW STEPH MISS ABOUT 7 WIDE OPEN THREES LAST NITE.

Yeah but these hybrid players are either trash or focusing on one aspect. Curry could very easily take it up, he only shoots (rightly so). And people are forgetting that Ai was a hybrid player, easily a PG/SG, and Jordan still beat him. Then you have the Hybrid GOAT, Tim Duncan, MJ beat him....Reggie isn't saying anything legit as there were hybrid players in Jordan's time and he roasted them no problem.

Gotta love when dudes get very selective with their opinions.

Steve Kerr has the highest career 3-point% of all-time and he played in the same era.

Other players from his era who shot better than him:

Mark Price, Dale Ellis, Jeff Hornacek, Allan Houston, Kenny Smith, Glen Rice, Dell Curry.

Reggie just ain’t that good.
