nygga why would I lie about Reggie leaving the show? He announced it on Bomb firstwhen lil rod and George weren't at DR were the main death row piru force shook?
I'm guessing Steele is the reason? Dude sucks lol, what a dumb ass, with this new platform they got, they should've kept it Reggie, Alex, and James. Start with DR stories and then branch out about LA life, crime, gang banging, music and law enforcement issues.
Doubt that very much ... not cats like heron , bountry al , poochie , mob James , neckbone , big rock hell no .... suges problem was going into situations out numbered thinking his name and rep meant something to actul street cats wen it didn’t ........

Steele is awful on the show. He ends every sentence with “man”, he has no experience in anything relevant to the discussion, his voice is awful and he repeats stories from previous episodes.
Norm has a very annoying voice but it wouldn't be so bad if he just facilitated the discussions instead of trying to chime in with his limited knowledge. Only thing I don't mind him discussing is music history and stuff on record labels, since he has experience in that.
I will say though, they have found a groove, it's not to the level it used to be, but it's solid. Doggie Diamonds should be a regular. Unfortunately, he can't unless he moves to LA.

Yep. And the issue is, it's his network, and for the sounds of it, he's an egomaniac so the probability of him leaving is low. It's like when the owner of a team wants to be the head coach.

Why Reggie quit?
He said he wasn’t happy with some things he found out was going on behind the scenes when he first announced it. The next time he spoke on it he said it was because his release date was up in the air and that was stalling getting the deal done with charlamagne’s network so he said he would leave so they could find a new host to get the deal done.
in all fairness, if I was Norm, I’d probably drop Alex too. The thing is that Alex wasn’t a team player willing to compromise. He’s use to doing his own thing with street tv, so it just wasn’t a good fit.
He was completely oblivious how it’s not a good look to leave James hanging, because you don’t want to do zoom style interviews. “Oh James you got it I’ll come back when we are in the studio.”
Now I agree with a lot of what Alex says on quality control, but his inability to compromise got his ass kicked off the show.
