I still listen most weeks if they have a guest that interests me. Norm is getting better but he’s never going to be a good host with his voice and the way he speaks. Why do they have him doing all the commercials? He’s awful at those! Some of them it seems like he came up with the script himself and it’s just plain bad lol.

Once Alex left, the show lost all its structure and it no longer flows from episode to episode. Also the quality control went way down when he left. They still haven't gotten down how to mix the audio levels between all the people on the show and the guest, which makes some episodes very difficult to hear certain ppl.

I was hoping when they got the deal with Charlamagne that it would improve, but it really hasn’t. It’s just a random interview every week instead of a debate between the hosts like it used to be. I hate to rip on it too much because I still listen but it doesn’t hold a candle to the old show. When it became Norm, Steele and Eiht as the hosts they should have just thought of a new name for the show since the format and hosts got switched up.

Agreed, the original was perfect. Now it's just an interview podcast, which is cool, but there's millions of podcasts like that. I still enjoy it, but its not the same at all.

They lean heavy on interviews now because I don't think they have the personalities or the depth the carry whole conversations like Reggie and Alex.

As I’m sure you know, Reggie is coming back to digital soapbox to host his own podcast. He said he’s not looking to do interviews. He said to expect appearances from Mob James and Steele occasionally.

I personally don’t see why Mob James can’t do 2 shows. I doubt it would step on anyone’s toes, as they are two very different podcast.

I’m sure they’ll be able to get some viral moments again with Reggie and he wants to be apart of that.
