If you were a female celeb who got your start in the 80s, as long as you stayed away from drugs and other vessels of demonism, you looker way better as you aged throughout the 90s.
The 80s was a particularly ugly decade for women. 60s, 70s, 90s women had a clean, natural, unblemished femininity to them. Makeup with very Earthy tones

The coke & mousse filled 80s came along and broads were rocking these sh1tty frizzy hairstyles, makeup in pastel hues that had to be inspired by rodeo clowns (or Hawk & Animal), ugly Cosby sweaters (which the beautiful Ms. King wore every damn week on 227), shoulder pads, and gigantic stretch-belts with HUGE crescent shaped buckles that looked like they could be conveniently removed and weaponized in the event of an impromptu raid on a Shaolin temple.
I'm a man-whore. I'm very comfortable with that description. The stereotypical West Indian who's libido runs through the roof. I would have had zero issues being celibate during that ass-ugly decade though, let that sink in.

One more thing since I've already started my 80s-hate, I dunno if it's the cameras or what, but people's mouths looked gross on 80s TV. A lot of yellow looking teeth, stinky breath, and just all-around bad oral hygiene
