His wife is Asian - Loida Lewis.
I searched her on YouTube years ago and one of her interviews she said how it was important for her not to nag at her Black husband because of all the racism he had to face.
A Black wife would never.....

I went to Reginald F Lewis high school (posted by the OP). When I attended the school it was named Northern High School, but they split the school into to 2 high schools and named one side Reginald F Lewis, and the Other side W.E.B. Dubois.

Too bad his daughter married white and now all the racism he faced is going right back to the people he battled and won. 
Mark Morial, Ahmed/Phlicia Rashad, Walter Payton, Richard Williams, Bob Johnson, and now Batak Obama etc all had a black wife and black children and yet their daughters married and dates white. Lmao you have a black lineage and they still marry white.
