Your point? The site has to replenish its membership to keep chugging along. Once per quarter would be best for the forum. People haven't been able to register accounts for years now.

EDIT: You can get of trolls by banning them and if needed, IP banning them. I don't understand why admins and mods are averse to growing the forum.

It has nothing to do with servers imo. Niketalk also uses Xenforo and regularly admits new users. They just put them on a probation period for one month before they can contribute to General discussion. This is one of the many issues this forum has that isn't addressed. You have people coming out of their pockets to help the upkeep.
