He missed over half the season with a Hip surgery ( and is still injured) :dead:. He played about as great you'd expect a player to play after a major injury in season
Dawg do you ever not just be a cheerleader??

Jesus Christ we know the Thunder is your favorite team but are you fukkin 10 years old?

Chet Holmgren is not going to be a 1st ballot Hall a Fame beast of a player I hope you realize that.

He will be productive but he's not ever gonna be some immortal player

Jalen Duren
Not only is Chet considerably better, but the most important thing given today’s climate is his versatility is what really sets him apart from Duren. All the different lineups that OKC can run wouldn’t be possible if you swapped him out for Duren.

The makeup of their frontcourt would look a lot different now too given they wouldn’t have gone after Hartenstein and that would’ve put their title chances this season in serious jeopardy.

I like toughness thats just me

When you're picking #2 I need measurables.

Chet is 7'1 and 125 lbs I am not fukkin with that

His body is horrible :mjlol:

I'll take Jalen Duren #2 and spend elsewhere or draft a spacing big that can shoot

He looked the same before the injury, he has much to prove IMO
No he didn't he looked damn near like a top 15-25 player at times before he broke his hip . He looked significantly stronger and a much better scorer coming out the summer.

He was averaging 18.2 points and 9.2 rebounds per game and 3 blocks.

People would laugh, but that's not a bad selection :ehh: . He was easily the #2 best player on the Pistons this year and in the playoffs

Of course, this is an assumption if Chet never gets better than he is now
Dawg these dudes are acting like Jalen Duren is a bum:mjlol:

I like his toughness I can get another pick and pop 4 especially one that weighs more than 135lbs

I personally don't think a player like Chet with that body type will ever be a dominant force..

So they drafted him and now their "Big 3" is SGA Jalen and Chet.. In this Hard Cap 2nd Apron era we in you're gonna max a dude like Chet with two pencils for legs who weighs 135lbs who already broke his hip like an old white lady :russ:

Nah man Chet has to go eventually.

I'm still holding hope out that Chet can improve greatly as a player. I personally don't see it, but I do see some potential. He does not have the shoulder width and frame needed to gain the weight, so I don't know. He gets pushed out of the paint by small forwards. If Chet can gain weight/strength somehow, then yeah a perennial all star career is in his future

But I think people get confused by the ESPN marketing machine, they overlook great prospects like Jalen Duren. Dude had the strength and rebounding ability as soon as he came in the league. And he is very smart in that he knows where to be offensively and defensively. Chet at this time has a personality where he gets rattled at times, Jalen on the other hand was very poised in that Pistons-Knicks series. If he can just add more of an offensive repertoire to his game, I can see borderline all-star in his future
