Im saying the Spurs deserve way more props than what they've gotten. Small market franchise in a city that aint got shyt else professionally, dont get no marquee free agents, came into the league as an ABA team and only 3 other NBA teams got more titles than the Spurs
When you look at all these teams that wanna be successful from the ground up they look at the Spurs. Not the Lakers, not the Celtics, the model for how you want a NBA team built is the Spurs. OKC's whole blueprint and model is copied from San Antonio that alone should say enough.
I respect the Miami Heat, they fans and the team that they got now and their fans got every right to be hyped and arrogant. But they still only got 1 title, I wanna see if they can sustain the run of high level play like the Spurs did. I want to see another franchise be a title contender for 14 YEARS IN A ROW in this era of the NBA. Kobe aint never done that, LeBron hasnt either.
