We got two 5 star CBs on the bench in Aaron Scott and Devin Sanchez. We should never see Styles play again. That was one of the worst plays I seen by a Ohio State CB in a while.

Dominated the game. Wish they went for it on a couple of those 4th downs. Only thing I didn’t like from the game was our red zone offense with those field goals. Had one bad defensive play from Styles.

Clean up the red zone and this game is 56 to 9 or something like that. One thing that ive notice that sticks out to me and people have been talking bout it as well is Brandon Innis isn’t giving us anything from the slot. He’s a captain and the leader of zone 6 so he is gonna play but after 3 games it’s been crickets in games where you would think in at least 2 of them he would get a little shine. Maybe it’s because JJ and Tate are the 2 best receivers in all of college but it’s kinda of alarming Innis just out there running dummy routes.

Ohio University is better than you think. They played 1 on 1 on Jeremiah Smith and made plays on the ball at the catch point. Crazy as it sounds, this initially threw off Sayin lol. He adjusted in game which is solid.

Yeah I have to watch some All 22 to see if he’s just not getting open. Also forgot to mention….Bo Jackson needs to get the most reps at RB. He has clear star potential. Still gotta have Peoples and Donaldson because you can’t run a freshman into the ground, but Bo has “it.”

You need to have one of these games to see the flaws that you have on your team before conference play starts. They left a lot of points on the field and Day has 2 weeks to clean it up before going up to Seattle. Sayin looked like a freshman but this will help him over time with areas of improvement. Jackson needs to be RB1 but they still have to work on the rotation along with the red zone offense. Defense needs to be truly tested because Arch is looking like more of a bust than a future NFL QB.

I’m not sure we’ll see an offense test this defense in the regular season. I’m one more single digit scoring output against Washington from declaring this is better than last year’s defense.
