ESPN/SEC are still in the denial stage with the fact they are not the premier conference anymore because of NIL and new transfer rules. They may have more depth that the B1G but our top end teams are just as good or better than their best teams. The SEC can't hoard talent like they used too and as a conference, they don't have the war chest of funds compared to schools like OSU, scUM, Oregon, Penn St and other non-BIG schools like Miami.

ESPN paid 3 billion for SEC over 10 years

Big Ten got 10 billion from Fox, CBS and NBC over 7 years
