I have nothing against the man and I enjoy his posts, but if I had 50k posts I would have to wonder: how much better would my life be if I had spent a portion of that time doing something more useful like learning a skill, working on a side hustle, etc...

I see you have nothing against him, so I'll just say that I don't agree with the idea that one has to do something useful to enjoy their life. I mean, if you have your life together and this is what you want to be doing, then more power to you. As long as the bills are getting paid. But, if you regret any of it, then that makes you a loser because you're not living the life you want to live and its nobody's fault but your own.

There's tons of hobbies that have prestige and are respected (probably because of association with the upper class), but are equally as pointless as this.
