Early on yes, but they are known nowadays to kind report facts but without the entire context. For instance I'm sure Wayne knows that the only option is he can try and work out a release and shop the record or he could file a lawsuit but it may also be a situation where its more civil than it is and the delay is samples, release dates etc etc and he's just thinking release the album. Basically it might not be as dramatic as it seems and more mundayne.
