Yeah, I had one preacher that kept it real with the congregation. He told them "stop praying to God with this woe is me mentality, you know what you need to do with your life to get on track! Stop wasting money at the casino, stop sleeping with men you don't know, God can't help you with that only you can". It was quiet in there......never saw him again

When you younger religion and God is planted into your head,but as you grow older and accept and see life for what it really is,it's gets harder and harder to trust that there is a god,due to all the wild things that go on in the world,a lot of super fukked up situations people go through or end up in and it's like where is this guy I'm supposed to count on or pray to,to make things better when shyt gets bad? Then when I do pray or trust in him I get nothing.

It's like some people deserve to die,but when you got babies and young kids getting they heads blew off,getting raped,dying from cancer at 4 years old and shyt it's like why does that happen? Or mass shootings and a ton of innocent people die? Or how some of the nicest most genuine people in the world don't have a pot to piss in,but some of the evilest mofos have everything they want and then some. Makes no sense.

But what I will say is I do believe there is a higher power,no question about that. Just don't know what it is.

There's been billions of people that have lived and died throughout history...people believe these people ( a lot of em never even knew religion i.e natives ) are sitting in heaven or hell in some massive city? Do old people go to heaven or hell as old, do babies that die go to heaven as babies? Is there a nursery or old folks home in heaven or hell

Most religions encourage people to be positive, kind, and to love one another. It encourages others to think of others instead of only thinking about themselves. Make decisions that are morally right. The law of attraction stuff does that as well.

Also, most Africans are religious and believe in God who they usually call Allah, so Idk why a lot of you keep trying to say black people weren't religious until they became American slaves.
