This is really subjective. You can't really say things are more peaceful when you look at il from a global perspective. Different crowds will give you different answers.

Of course in areas such as the Middle East, this doesn't apply.

But for those of us under 40, we really have no concept of the cold war and the horrible effects it had.

Obviously WW2 was the bloodiest conflict in world history. But, the cold war was ruthless "game of thrones" shyt being played with on nearly every continent. Coup de tat's and armed uprisings were a annual occurrence in many parts of the world.

i never said i was trying to understand anything all i said was after i have experienced it, which is why i actually believe it became there was no clear cut understanding of what could have possibly lead to or made those events happen

My problem is NOT religion. What I have a problem with is pimp preachers and leaders who lie to their congregation. However, religions like Judaism, Christianity, and Islam made me who I am as a person. As an Agnostic-Theist, I respect all religions that helps the poor and etc. Connivers in that religion are another thing though. Still, you have weak people in general not just religious people. Anyway, you have preists, pastors, rabbis, imans, and the Pope trying to make the world a better place.


Oh yeah, Buddhism is good too even though some won't classify it as a religion.
