I used to have a softer stance on religion. Now I see it's basically poison in this day and age. It robs people of the full potential of their inductive reasoning skills and promotes barbarism.

Hundreds of years from now I can definitely see religion being considered a mental illness



We'll look back at our holy books the same way we now look back at Greek and Norse mythology and shake our heads for being dumb enough to take that stuff literally and form laws based on it

These books have been around since the time of Greek and Norse mythology....

Religion is definitely dangerous, because it's man's attempt to get close to God.

The book doesn't tell you to do half of the things being done in what people call "churches" today.
