All too often do I see religious folks invoking the bible or the quran etc as a means of basing their morality.

Well it stands to reason that if you really do this, then you don't get to say what good or bad is...all you can say AT THE MOST is whatever your religion commands or asserts.

If you disagree with a part of your religious doctrine, you're using YOUR OWN morality...not the morality in the doctrine.

If you were using your religious doctrine, you wouldn't even have an opinion on the matter as the decision would be made up for you on your behalf.

Stop trying to evade being responsible for VOLUNTARILY associating yourself with something then acting like it gives you leeway to start moving the goalposts.

If you want to believe in that shyt, you better go balls deep because its either true, real, or valid...or its not.

This post does not even make sense. If someone follows a religion they clearly agree with the views of it. The idea that you're saying they are not making a choice does not make sense.

Ignoring the right thing to do is always caused by selfishness. So i guess to answer that question you'd be using your own morals, which you will typically find out, are wrong if they're not in line with what Scripture says.

Sometimes people have moments of weakness where they cater to the world instead of what God wants. Its wrong because often times you find out that the cost of what you did was not worth it because it hurt you, your integrity or brought another person pain.

Every man and woman is a sinner. We follow the Bible because we love God and fear God and the morality he has given us is a great base for reference point to return to when we begin to slip into the enticements of the demonic realm and need to find our way back to good. People who follow Gods word are not perfect and doing something wrong does not mean we should abandon our beliefs to become demons. That makes no sense, friend.

Thats the old testament when moses was teaching the law to indivudals who were new to the word of God. Down the road, all men became sinners and Christ came to us and said *let he who is without sin cast the first stone* and that individual, is no one so while we can acknowledge the lost among us , it is not our place to murder another human being because he made the same mistakes that we make, friend. Thats Gods job but we as a people should strive to not become like the sinners spoken of in the old testament because when Christ returns everyone who runs with satan will be killed.
