if you were as SMART as you think you are, you would realize that gay people come in all colors and walks of life. i say this as a black gay man. not only are you ignorant, you're racist towards whites and black people as well.
black people have too many problems to be "open minded" and "tolerant". are you serious?
that's the same reason why folks are finding themselves in a hole to begin with. if you were open minded, you would actually read a book about gay people and black history before your ass even tries to speak. you basically sucking off and praising criminals are if they're heroes calling them "respectable" through the word "real". then you're talking about victimization under the same breath while supporting victimizers. you really don't know what the fukk you're talking about. if you knew any better, you would realize that hip hop has gone down the tubes because you have folks that are basically using and abusing the art form for all the wrong reasons and trying to say that they're contributing something. sure, folks have used it as a platform to say address issues or to speak their minds on the way of the world BUT that doesn't mean what they're saying is right. for example, we have rappers talking about gun violence, death, killing and etc in their rhymes. sure, it's entertaining, enlightening to how some people live, what some people living in certain neighborhoods across the country and the world have to put up with and etc. it's all a matter of perspective BUT on the same face, it doesn't give someone the right to go outthere and follow what they're saying. if project pat said "shoot so and so in the face", he's not telling you to do that shyt. if you decide to do something like that to somebody, that's YOUR action. you can't blame project pat, bone thugs, mobb deep or whoever for YOUR actions saying that the song made you do it. you just can't. just because someone says something doesn't mean that it's COOL or okay, breh. ice cube said some racist shyt back in the day. it doesn't make it okay. rappers say hateful shyt towards women, that doesn't make it okay. same thing applies with hate speech towards gay people. it doesn't make it okay because some rappers or people out in the world are doing it.
funny how you want to talk about the prejudice that black people face. once upon a time, it was completely acceptable in america for black people to be hated against. there were lynchings that happened and folks didn't give a fukk. it was a damn pasttime even where they would snatch up a black person and hang them for entertainment. there were people that thought it was "normal" to kill a black person and dehumanize them. does that mean it was right though? OF COURSE NOT. to see that you have the same type of mentality that those people had back in the day towards gay people is quite frightening. proof that just because you are part of a historically disadvantage group in society doesn't make you exempt from being ignorant. ignorant is ignorant. don't use your skin color as an excuse. just because people in the past have been victimized because of their skin color doesn't give you or anybody who is black to victimize other people for who they are whether it's their skin color, gender, sex, sexual orientation and etc.
