would cleveland fare better with kyrie having the ball more or lebron? are they better when kyrie is their leading scorer or lebron?

watching this game you would think kyrie is their first option. i guess we saw how that turned out.

He is the first option :francis:

Yes, they would, when they went on that run in the 3rd it was Kyrie that had the ball in his hands mostly. They stopped trying to post Bron up and were actually moving the ball. The only issue with Kyrie is he will over dribble at times, so you have to tell him when to ease back, but at this point in their careers Kyrie should be the one breaking down the defense.

he was the only one with the heart to the take it to the rack, cant put the Cavs losing on Kyrie being aggressive. his teammates failed him :yeshrug:

mind you I didnt say kyrie has to be THE leading scorer I just said LeBron has to play with another scorer.

is lebron the coach?

who's the one that has kyrie bring the ball up 90% of the time?

who's the one that has the offense run through kyrie and not lebron?

the fukk does any of this have to do with my point that the Cavs cant win by surrounding LeBron with a bunch of players that cant do anything independent of LeBron

oh please that wasn't a run, those were all hard buckets. golden state was just missing shots and turning the ball over.

the cavs never had a hold on this game and they led for literally a minute before giving the game back for good.

if you think the cavs are better off running the offense through kyrie over lebron then you're as blind as tyron lue.

lebron is more useful as quarterback, wayyyy more useful than kyrie irving.

surround lebron with shooters and a competent post up player he can dump the ball to occasionally and you are a guaranteed contender every year. what he doesn't need is another player on the court who holds the ball more than he does.

you're right, it's a huge problem. lebron can't be very effective when he doesn't have the ball in his hands. he's not a great shooter and he's not a great post up player. he's the most dangerous when he's at the top of the key trying to create for himself and others.

now someone tell this to tyron lue.

you still dont get it. having a bunch of players reliant on one to create for them is not a winning formula

so lebron james can't win with lamarcus aldridge and a bunch of shooters? really?

so long as lebron actually lets him be a post player and relegates to him every so often, a team like that would be tough to beat.

no one has seen it, it's never happened.

on miami he had wade to contest with, another player who kept the ball out of lebron's hands for large periods of time. also that team never utilized bosh the way they should have. instead of using him as a go-to post player he became just another glorified spectator. whether that was on lebron or on spoelstra... who knows.

a team with lebron as point guard, a good to great post player, and solid shooters would be a hard team to outscore. they would have a tremendous inside/outside game that no one else in the league could really fukk with. lebron is already a 30 pts and 8 asts guy by himself, imagine if he had a legit 15-20 pt guy he could lean on in the post.

and no not kevin love... a guy that actually stays in the post.

this is the team he wanted.
