Before 9/11 hijackers would just ask for ransom and land the plane. This was unheard of and nobody expected this.

He wrote that the hijackers told the passengers they would land, you'd have to think once that happens its up for you. If I'm ever in a situation like that I have to risk it unless they're pointing a gun directly at me.
