Remedy Games calls out Series S as being a major development hinderance

Majority of games are on par between the 5 & X.

Series X better run better with that extra power.
10 vs 12tf isn’t a big gap.

Similar cards on PC have a 2-5 FPS difference.

Console games are usually locked/capped so you won’t see small differences in framerate.

Majority of games have slightly better resolution/performance on xbox.

But it’s such a small difference that it doesn’t matter:manny:


And none of that has anything to do with series s

Lots of “likely” and “probably” in this post.

Devs have to work on literally dozens of hardware configurations. Blaming one of them for the state of game releases is asinine.

Majority of games Series x performs slightly better than PS5 as it should.

Series S has just become a scapegoat for some of you that don’t want to accept reality :manny:
Because I'm not there, just like you aren't. So, you think devs are treating the S like its own platform to work on, as opposed to a subset of the MS platform, i.e. split the team working on the MS version?

The X wouldn't get more attention if the S wasn't there to distract them?:mjlol:

the adjustments needed for a lot of games are probably trivial. lower resolution, lower quality shadows, and target 30 fps. games that are hitting a wall with memory usage require more work

Fact is, the x works about on par to the performance it should compared to similar hardware.

In a perfect world devs should/would be able to squeeze better performance out of all platforms.

Imagine thinking xbox wouldn't be doing remasters as well if they could... its just that noone wants shyt like Ryse remastered and you already did master chief collection last gen :russ:
