And Harold Deane and Curtis Staples and Jamal Robinson and then Courtney Alexander debuted the next season. Lot of talent on that UVA squad. Shame Jeff Jones couldn't coach his way out of a wet paper bag.

I was at that MD-Georgetown game. Never cared about MD bball as a kid and stanned Michigan. But pops took me and Keith Booth was the talk of Bmore high school hoops. Then some nikka named Joe Smith came out that game and crushed the buildings. He was a star instantly
Kurtis Shultz and that pigeon toed Mario Lucas, I hated when that nikka came into the game

I remember watching this as a kid, first UConn team i followed, met both George and Burrell at a basketball camp..
then getting Laettner'd the next game.. years before Kentucky
