They enable others to get millions so fukk you p*ssy
not millionaires but properly compensated in the close to 6 figure range, so that the profession attracts high quality individuals.

In some of the more highly educated countries, teachers have a prestige like doctors, engineers etc, so a masters degree is required just to teach 5th graders...

Teachers are the some of the best people in society the fuq is this thread? :scust:

Who taught you how to read this thread? :martin:

Next to your parents, a teacher is your life mentor, a good teacher has the power to inspire a child to become an astronaut :mjcry:,

Thank you Ms Brown, you believed in me before I believed in myself :to:

Children are easy to control because their minds are still developing, adults are far more difficult in conditioning than children. This is a FACT.

My five children are far easier to control compared to me trying to control five adults.

Shut the fukk up breh, talking about kids are easy to control.. My middle school in Harlem was chaotic with teachers trying to teach and kids throwing desks across the classroom

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
First off

  1. $44,515

Average Salary for All K-12 Teachers
    Job National Salary Data
High School Teacher 4325 salaries $46,953
Special Education Teacher, Preschool, Kindergarten, or Elementary School 1222 salaries $44,515
Middle School Teacher 1196 salaries $43,848
Special Education Teacher, Secondary School 629 salaries $48,385

And that's the national avg. so they are doing fine

Second. Most are in unions and can't be fired. So all this, b-b-but you have to educate and control them.........

No you don't. You don't even have to pass them and you'll still keep your job.

There could be fights daily, you keep your job

You can have your shining star as a teachers assistant and have them grade the papers. Or maybe you teaching a class/grade that doesn't require much effort. Teaching 4th grade English is harder than AP chemistry

And add the fact that for 2-3 months. 4 if we count winter and spring breaks. Plus holidays and weekends. They barely work most of the year.

Add in those 3-4 months and add it to salary and they'd be up on the 60-70s on average

The Comfort Zone
Teachers definitely get the privilege of having those summers off and still get paid. My mother retired at 100k as a Spec. Ed teacher in Nyc. She had to get 2 masters to reach that level but she barely made it to, she was extremely burnt out.

Yeah they get alot of time off in the year but she brought alot of work home. Not just papers I'm talking. She worked in South Bronx aND extremely poor children who come from drug addict backgrounds and having to deal with the problems they faced at home. She wasn't just a teacher to those children, damm near a mother to them. She Def went above and beyond to supporting these under privileged children for 25+ years. Most jobs you can at least go home and turn off that filter. Being a teacher you take every bit of it back home to you, it's tough to just ignore that lil quadasha is probably being molested by a crackhead uncle and can barely read and write at 13 years old.

I see the arguments on both sides but all in all, some teachers don't get the respect they deserve as a pillar of our society.

You're wrong about one thing. You do not "still get paid" in the summer. Your 9-10 month paycheck is stretched.
