The worst timing in the world happened to him :damn:

The chances of them shooting a "terrorist/jihadist" angle on a Tuesday, which gets aired on a Thursday, which is the same exact day terrorists bombed a train in England... probably weren't that high when they wrote it. But hell if it didn't happen, and he suffered the consequence.

Exactly right.

I was still shocked that it was a permanent move, though. No disrespect to the people on that train, but I thought they'd just set that storyline aside for a few weeks until things calmed down and then start pushing the guy again. That's what you might expect Vince to do, especially when a dude is as over as Hassan was.

It's not too often that one of the hottest heel acts on the show completely disappears so suddenly like that. Not saying they were wrong, just saying I was surprised.

Yea, he had potential there is no denying that, but he's HIGHLY overrated among the IWC, you would think he was gonna change the whole landscape of pro wrestling with the way some dudes speak about him :childplease:

:russ: True... he didn't last long enough for his disappearance to be that huge of a loss (roughly 6-7 months), but he def. would've been a viable character. You would think sometimes that he was about to be the next Iron Sheik the way he gets praised online tho', haha. I remember him getting a lot of heat pretty early, but he was also a lil' green in the ring and I wonder how long he could've gone with that gimmick until it got boring.

That happens in the #TSC and over on Wrestlingforum.com. Revisionist history will lead them to saying just about everybody should of been heavyweight champion
