With the right doctor you can get your child on growth hormone. Knew a wealthy Arab back in college who claimed his parents put him on growth hormone as a child because his doctor estimated that his adult height would top out at 5'5".

The guy ended up being 5'9" so I maybe it helped. I don't know which one would be more harmful.
