yall want him to find a new job, but he seems content with this. good for him getting the GFM. hopefully it continues to pour in and he can buy a house if he doesn't have one.

The Burger King employee who hasn't missed a day of work in more than 27 years could start a new career if he pleases ... he's getting flooded with job offers.

Kevin Ford, who went viral after posting a video of the mediocre gift bag he got on his work anniversary, tells TMZ ... potential employers have been hitting him up left and right, offering a wide range of career changes.

Kevin says he got a job offer from a company that restores classic cars, but he says it's not his thing so he passed.

While Kevin lives in Vegas, he says one job offer rolled in all the way from Charleston, SC, where a manager at a restaurant told him it would be an honor to work beside him. The manager's pitch, which Kevin also turned down, was working at a beachside restaurant with "unbeatable" tacos.

Kevin tells us he has no plans to leave his steady job at Burger King, but if he ever gets the itch, he's got help ... he says a woman from Texas who specializes in resumes reached out, offering to craft him a new resume gratis.

There is one place Kevin would leave BK behind for ... he says his dream job is making music.

In the meantime, Kevin's GoFundMe is up to $162,000 and counting ... including that $5k donation from David Spade ... and he says he's got real estate agents in Vegas offering to help him buy a home, with one offering to give up half the commission to seal a deal.

also apparently he was a single dad, they have good health insurance and he has a retirement plan

"[My dad] originally began working at this job as a single father when he gained custody of me and my older sister 27 years ago," she explained in her post. "Then as our family grew and he remarried, he continue to work here because of the amazing health insurance that was provided through this employer because it was unionized, which got all four of his daughters through high school and college with full healthcare coverage. My dad continues to work here, because though he does look young, he is coming up on retirement age and leaving would cost him his retirement."

They shoulda kept this private. Suddenly cousins he never heard of bout to hit him up looking for a hand out.
Yep.

The biggest problem is everyone gets to point fingers at BK, get their socialist takes off...now, something good happens and we forget about this before July 4th.

When, in reality, there's been very real push for worker's rights why ya'll obessessed with LLC's, and getting caught in crypto scams trying to get rich and "employ yourselves."

Every sense that Dame BC interview the internet been shytting on 9-5s, now, everyone is a socialist and thinking fast food workers should get stock options.

How about we start programs to get a lot of these elder workers skilled up in tech fields that they can prolly make the same money, but, not break their backs over a grill?

The problem is a grown man has had to work fast food for 3 decades and got trapped in that cycle because he didn't see a way to skill up and get something better.

Its sad how recently, goFundme has become our nations backup retirement system, funeral preperations, healthcare system, legal council fund, etc. There is something seriously wrong with public services in america.

That Whole site originally exited to fund community potlucks, random inventions, and mixtapes(or other art ventures). :francis:
