Dudes, I was in Silver Spring, MD when that all went down. One of the shootings happened less than one mile away from where I lived. The bus driver who got shot. Really awful story. Seriously, I thought both of them deserved the death penalty.

Crazy thing was I used to jog on the sidewalk near that park off Connecticut Avenue if I didn't go to the gym. I stopped the whole outdoor jogging thing when the shootings started.

I never went inside my car to pump my gas. I was Cool Moe Dee. But, I did feel a bit anxious though.

shyt was fukkin crazy and I was livin in Mo County(downtown Silver Spring) so I was in the heart of the bullshyt. I was in 10th grade and pretty much every school day was on some Code Blue shyt, when nikkaz was home we hawkin each white van that drove by but after awhile we had to get from round the street when they shot the young nikka in PG County.

The craziest memory is prolly from the DC murder and from the last murder. The DC victim was an older Haitian man and my part of Silver Spring was close as shyt to the border and that shooting. Me and my patnahs thought yay cutler peoples got knocked and we was damn near til we heard the name and let off a collective , those few moments felt crazy cuz it was so close to home but the last murder of the bus driver used to drive the Ride-On through my neighborhood during exams and he was cool as a fam he used to cyse me when I ain't have enough bread to get on cuz he knew we had exams, even gave me a transfer to hop on the next bus. Good peoples. RIP.

I remember that. I'm from Silver Spring but was in Durham NC at the time attending school. The 2nd victim, dude who was killed filing up his Taxi, was my sister's best friend's father. Scary shyt cuz he was moving dc md va. I thought nc was next.
