I don't even think it was a case of that, it's all about the LeBron narrative and has been since 2012. Even folk on this board convinced themselves that Iggy was the best player for the Warriors in that series, simply because he was the antagonist to LeBron.

The reaction to the Steve Kerr quote went way overboard but there was also a strong narrative that Delly was holding his own against Curry which was entirely untrue and had nothing to do with LeBron.

The media needs to do better :francis:
