A Black Tv station with good decent respectable content could take off. theres a huge untapped market waiting to be exploited.

They have a couple black channels on digital cable

Yep, basically used us to get their ratings up and tossed us aside when we were no longer needed.But UPN was my channel from the 90s to like early-mod 00s.

Man....I forgot how much I used to watch on this channel...and people did used to make fun of it, but it was good. When it was gone I missed it.

Dog even though the ratings declined, I legit wanted to know what was gonna happen at the end. And then..nothing they just started playing reruns. I wish I had internet back then I could atleast done some research and had some closure

i was a kid when i watched it and i dont remember folks clowning it. Its not hard to believe though. It was one of the only channels I watched before and after school.

I see major potential

If Youtube is the future and the market for Black shows like we had back in the day is what the people want...

Then what's really stopping us to create our own Black media?

I mean look at Money and Violence. They took off so it's possible to have our shows (even low budget) become a success.

Our people want to be shown in a positive way, so I say lets create it.

We could create a funny low budget family series showcasing a Black family in positive way (like a Malcom in the Middle) and you can also profit by charging per show.

I know y'all hate on Dame Dash but his mini movie series are making bank on Vimeo.

Just think if folks started to produce our OWN media in the way WE want to be shown...
It could really take off brehs
