I wasnt mad at Missy being honored. Yall nikkas still sleeping on Missy and her influence?
I hated her growing up, but after looking back, she was extremely original and took the game by storm. she doesnt get enough respect. especially compared to today's rappers, her shyt makes everybody look like trash. and lets not even speak on her videos...she def doesnt get her due.

shes more of an r&b star. she really didnt mean chit to hip-hop. now i can see if they snuck her in there like 10 years from now or something, but she got inducted on like the FOURTH SHOW.
salt n pepa & mc lyte were the only other females inducted. and i assume that they tried to get latifah & lauryn. so you trying to tell me that missy is a top 3-5 female rapper?
and no she doesnt make anybody look trash on the mic. theres a whole slew of female emcees out now that rap circles around her.

some of the other people honored in general arent the greatest lyricists either...but Missy wasnt wack...he style was definitely BIG influenced.
