He's the third option with similar numbers as he had last season. And we would've spent that money on Born Ready if Houston matched... We had to overspend to get him. And if Dirk didn't give us a discount he would be having some of Parsons' money anyway. So them way I look at it we overpaid for Parsons but got a deal on Dirk. So it evens out

Cuban is on record saying that if they didn't get Chandsome, they would've gave that same contract to Lance Stephenson. So, you should be happy you got a serviceable guy for that price tag instead

His shot has been ass this season which really helps hardens MVP case. Rocket fans like to credit ariza for the defensive turnaround but I'm not sold on that. Parsons is definitely better than ariza IMO.

You have to look at the deal in context. With underpaying for Dirk, having Ellis at a modest rate, the bench being assembled with low cost pieces, they can afford to splurge on Parsons. And when the playoffs hits and he's a major contributor, we'll see.
Hopefully y'all aren't the same folks complaining that Cuban let the 2011 team go.
