Remember when Chipotle was the best thing since sliced bread?

what's up mayne! golly it has gone by fast aint it. it feels lke just the other day i was celebrating summer solstice. but it has been good overall. lots of time at the pool. 3 beach trips and one coming up next week . managed to make some extra money. can't complain. how was yours?

Just busy making art. I met with a curator at a museum and she was totally turned off from my nude art, so that was a missed opportunity. Other than that, I've been cooling

I didn't hear or know about Chipotle until within the last 10 years .

I've tried their food a couple times and it's medicore. Definitely not for me

Lines was out the door lunch hours anywhere in 2011/12.

Years later in like 2015 the issue with the lettuce or onions ecoli/noro virus stuff happened a couple times and I kept going after a couple weeks... as i didn't hear about any cases in Maryland.

And I think the noro virus was attached to poor hand washing at some locations.

i remember everyone was like you gotta try chiptole when it first came out and after a few years i tried it. I was more impressed by the portion size and quality than the actual flavor of the food for a fast food joint.

shout out to my dude Javale McGee for putting me on to Chipotle back in the day After that, I was hitting them up regularly. Now, the area where I live doesn't have a lot of good fast food options, and the service at most of them is spotty at best. The new Popeye's ran out of CHICKEN several times. The area is growing, and they're building a Chipotle a few minutes from the crib.

The white people “Taqueria” where they feel safe instead of driving to a ghetto plaza where the real Mexican food is at. Mexican families blasting their music and can hardly speak English.

Chipotle never was the best per se BUT they offered very solid food at a fair price but when so much of it was made fresh it became tough when so much of your business model relies on the the freshness of your ingredients. It also had more value when Mexican food wasn't 'everywhere'.

Chipotle use to be pretty good. I dunno why but now days it just seems overly salty. And they be skimping on the portions.

But yea back in them college days you could get a bowl or a burrito and if you got extra meat you basically had two meals. They use to OD with the toppings too. Food had flavor compared to places like Moes and Qdoba.

I go back-and-forth between LA and SD frequently. Best Mexican food easily.

That said, I still get Chipotle every now and then. They still have a good flavor to their food.
