and they tried to play it off as a leaked song that was never supposed to see the light of day?

but then a week later, HP dropped a laptop commercial featuring this so called leaked "never supposed to see the light of day" song being played throughout? :skip:

They should have just owned up to the song lol... it wasn't even that bad outside of Jay-Z's terrible attempts at Young Money punchlines.

"I should be duckin these clubs...Tiger Woods" :snoop:

It was supposed to be the first single, but an unfinished version of the song leaked first. It had Dre and Jay verses, but the hook/chorus was missing. Then some unknown came along and filled in a hook/chorus, but it was considered a fake. So what we were left with is an unfinished song.

It appears in that commercial because it was supposed to be the single, but the unfinished version leaked, so they scrapped it. I don't think the quality of the song had anything to do with it, because "I Need A Doctor" was hated by fans, but it became a hit. That song was a huge hit, in fact. It was even performed at the Grammys and we still don't have an album.

Just listened to it since the 1st time it came out, wasn't as bad as I remembered. Still not up to Dre standards though. I remember a song he had with Swizz that was horrible.

Let's not forget this shyt:russ:

Kush was dope as hell, I still bump it. But it desperately needed a Nate Dogg hook, RIP :to:

EDIT: @Shuttaman, LOL, you recognize

Dre is one of my all-time favorites but I swear that dude is a part of more never to be completed projects than any musician ever.

I'm still mad at him over Helter Skelter with Cube never being anything but talk

I haven't even gotten to properly get pissed at him over Under Pressure/Detox yet

Lol. Naw bruh. Something was messing.

It wasn't A-Level Dre but for a 2011 Snoop/Dre combo I thought it was straight, best Snoop sounded in years and Dre's flow wasn't extra'd out like it has been, beat sounded like some futuristic Chronic 2001 shyt as well. Each to their own though breh.:yeshrug:

It was perhaps the biggest anti climax in hip hop history. Did they really believe this was Detox' STILL D.R.E? :snoop:

Kush was good though.
