Yes, summer 2003, Interscope was on an irreversible momentum, and their B team (in terms of publicity) used the Shady/Murder Inc feud to get their name out, even more. Obie was going at them, Banks and Yayo had 'Bump Heads', 50 and Em 'Hail Mary', 'We All Die One Day' was another one, wasn't necessarily a diss record, was hot as fukk. From April to August, Shady/Aftermath/G Unit was back to back with the mix tapes, and street singles. I fukked with 'Bodygaurd', I remember playing that a lot all summer, this was still just the post 'Ether' era, and diss record were still a big deal.

Ja had some dope records, they just didn't connect with everyone, because he had lost any standing he had in the streets by then, I liked 'Change Gon Come', and a lot of 'Blood In My Eye', 'The Wrap', no one was playing 'Loose Change', I forgot Eminem buried Benzino that summer, 'Nail In the Coffin' was a crazy track, no one could fukk with that movement.
