Drake released a song with her, and then Chris Brown came thru & CRUSHED the buildings with this.... You haven't heard squat from drake about another Aaliyah collab since.

Drake's Aaliyah project was shutdown long before Chris Brown dropped that song. The whole idea was abandoned after Tim and Missy pretty much went in on the idea of a posthumous Aaliyah project on the Breakfast Club. I think they were even saying two Timbaland productions was going to be on it, which was refuted. Aaliyah's own family spoke out against Drake and 40 making that album. "Don't Think They Know" didn't exactly crush buildings even though it was a cool song.

That 'Enough Said' is one of my favorite Drake tracks, despite my disdain for him and his whole image....

felt like two disjointed songs. Drake's verse had nothing to do with whatever Aaliyah was signing about. IT's like the Wu-Tang Forever thing, he just went off onto his usual topics.

Chris Browns was more of a real song.

"Still ain't got the time for a bytch to be actin iffy.
Runnin thru my city with nikkas I give a kidney,
Selling under 150? You nikkas gotta be kidding."

That subtle ether to damn near everyone in the game :wow:

I hate when you clowns never post any source....one of the family members gave them the greenlight to proceed with the project but when Tim went on radio and didn't co-sign it 40 fell back

The family member that green lighted the project was her uncle Barry Hankerson. The family member against the project was her brother.

In 2012, producer Jeffrey "J-Dub" Walker announced his involvement in a second posthumous album, which was allegedly created from a stash of demo vocals, however the project was shut down by Aaliyah's brother Rashad Haughton, who tweeted at the time, "Statement: there is no official album being released and supported by the Haughton family."
