Always thought Flex was a clown for this. You seen this in real time, did nothing, co-signed Drake for literally years....then want to complain about how fraudulent he is years later.

Fred.

Breh you better not even have an open standing parking ticket, I see the Drakettes tagging you in all their circlejerk get togethers.

We already know they're not above making that call on you :heh:

I mean....honestly I got nothing bad to say about Drake in this situation. Yeah this should've been a red flag but the fault lies with Flex. If he still rode with him to this day it would be a different story....but he seen this and did nothing....then woke up one morning like :ohhh:"the Jewish child actor from suburban Canada is fake". It's just....silly as hell.

Na
Till this day refuses to do interviews with black media
I don’t even know why
Unless it’s charlemagne they going to be in his nuts too
And even he calmed down

Just buy AK some hoes a few days before and he’ll be on his best behavior

Explain this to me, brehs, cause I am genuinely curious :jbhmm:

why is dude labeled a fraud” or a “fake?”:patrice:

Did he ever claim to be a supadupa freestylin’ nikka or a no-help needed artist?

Sure, he’s less of a rapper because of these silly and unfortunate “exposals” so I understand why his reputation as an emcee is shot. :hubie:

However, is he not still a valid or credible recording artist as his input, his vocals and his performance of the lyrics are all key components of the collaborative song crafting process that he has chosen to endorse and never really made a concerted effort to hide? :yeshrug:

Forgive me for asking these seemingly stupid off-base questions.

Just seeking clarification on the matter. :manny:

His own camp said people that use ghostwriters are frauds back in 2012:

Noah '40' Shebib: Recording Drake's 'Headlines' |

"In hip-hop," 40 explained, "you must write your own raps. If someone else were to write them for you, you'd have no credibility whatsoever, and you'd be out of the window immediately."

That alone puts him in the fraud category. Not only did his camp put out a statement condemning the shyt he was doing, at no point did Drake make any effort to clarify that he had help. If he came out, day 1, saying he has "help" or people writing verses for him this is a nonissue as other people like Eazy-E are legends who obviously spit ghostwritten verses.

They're not gonna give you confirmation. These weirdos aren't even hip hop fans to begin with.

:what: 40 wasn't making a statement about his camp. He was just talking about hip hop in general, and comparing it to genres outside of hip hop. Then goes on to say "me and Drake write together", and "I've written stuff and just given it to Drake." They've always straddled that hip hop/pop/RnB lane so that's why the 'real emcee'/authenticity thing doesn't apply to them, and never has.
