Recovery was such a weird album...it was actually good but it was the beginning of an Eminem style that I just wasn't feeling

His flow just wasn’t smooth to me any more. Felt like he started that cramming of words and syllables and his just wasn’t riding beats the same. I go back and listen to “who knew” and am always like “what happened!!”

Edit: not comparing them but to me it’s like the Mos verse Talib comparison. While lyrical, Talib’s presentation was never smooth like Mos’.
