He was already popping pills before Proof passed but after he lost Proof, I feel like Eminem lost his "voice of reason" and muse
Proof seemed to be his foundation and the 1 who gave him the fuel he needed to be confident as an MC

I remember him saying he wrote a lot of songs but couldn't come up with 1 that he felt did him justice so he dedicated the whole Relapse album to him.
Nobody was supposed to hear that song, got bought and leaked. I like it though.
Going through changes on Recovery was a dope dedciation, I actually like difficult more than that though I can see why he didn't want it out.
