The trend that I hated the most at this time was music videos that were shot in 16:9 twice to fit 4:3.

Videos like this is what I mean

Other folks took the sound and ran it to the ground. It never sounded as good or natural as Texas doing it.

It sounded forced.

Listen to UGK "Diamonds & Wood" then listen to the non Texas stuff

Your original post is the exact opposite of the thread concept. You went full 'tard on this one, mayne.


So you guys meant chopped and screwed samples. Cause that's what those songs sound like. That's a southern staple. The title thread is mislead.
