Half of his verse ending with yaaa and it being an old reused verse from his Lean back remix which had already been out buzzin automatically made the verse weaker than Fabs. And Fab was the only one who had connecting bars.

As far as Weezy :dead:, everyone knows that he murked that joint something seriously.

Agreed. Fab and Weezy spit that hood shyt..Cassidy was with that weak ass flow and ending with "yall" :russ:

Fab had them grade A bars and Weezy spazzed ..... "and in the tires where packages goin'...It's been a good year with these firestones" :wow:

Stan is too strong, but I fukked with Cass in like mid 2003, he was killing all the mixtapes, and up until his subpar debut, was dope as fukk on the freestyles, and 'Hotel' was my shyt in senior year, 'i got room keys'...

Back then, it wasn't just assumed that an above average mix tape rapper would drop an awful debut album, he got some back after the second one, but then he caught the case....he even got a third chance with 'B.A.R.S' and we know how that ended..

I loved his 'Jackin 4 Beats' freestyle, esp 'Victory' at the end, the 10 min 'PSA' freestyle, the one over Jada 'Blood Pressure', 'I throw ounces in freezer bags to keep my pockets fat like trina ass'

ahhh man I used to play that all the time,

'I hand out ounces/running throw abandoned houses/to burn the cops/come right out to burn the cops/with a bird in a laundry detergent box/so it don't look like I'm tossing packs, it just look like I'm going to the laundromat'

man those old punchline/dopeboy freestyles are close to unlistenable these days, beyond dated.

Cass another victim of the punchline era. Making dope songs on mixtapes , but make Ja Rule type songs on his albums for ladies to buy that shyt.

Cassidy would argue that the whole "battling yourself/your other personality" was him first and then loads of cats jumped on that bandwagon. :yeshrug:

But I think we need to give credit here- I would say after all that D-Block did for hard as fukk freestyles, Cassidy was the next era. Cassidy probably made Wayne and them really want to put in work- dude was shattering shyt.

Won't mention his commercial success challenges though...:snoop:
