I don't call them my brothers anymore. They two sided. One day you're they brother, then you get around them and you the only black person there and all of sudden they all But growing up in Philly, Jersey and New York, all the hoods are African American and Puerto Rican, so its easy to think of them as part of the group. But you learn even they look down on you too. In Philly though (i can speak from experience), the rican broads do love them some black dudes if that's your thing.

I remember working at a super market with these people from NYC and they couldnt even comprehend being in another county outside NYC IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK! Lmao! When they county they were in is right outside NYC. It was mind-blogging to them that they had to actually drive.

Anything that is close to a rural setting where you have to drive they can't comprehend.

I'm from here too. When I was growing up and NY was on top, I knew something wasn't right. I visited ATL in Summer of 2001 and it was hands down the best experience of life I had. I knew that the close minded NY lifestyle wasn't going to hold up too much long, and low and behold, I was right. Trap music took over a few years later and it killed off any NY/northeast pride. Even the strip clubs in NY are modeled after ATL shyt.
