True in some sense, but Fat Joe's career only revitalized after going to jail and reconciling and releasing All The Way Up last year. Otherwise, he really didn't do that much between the time both were beefing.
Then again, Joe and 50 wasn't even a true beef, it was a music beef because of Joe's affiliation to Ja at the time. He was like a stray bullet in the battle.
Ross was more of an actual beef.
Fat Joe's career was on borrowed time after Pun died and Joe was a true boss at the end of the day that put people in position who looked out in return....DJ Khaled, Cool & Dre...etc.
