No, Jamie took that man's soul and literally traveled to the future and destroyed any remnants of a legacy.

It was one of the most brutally effortless comedic executions I'd ever seen.

"I'm your conscience" was literally un-counterable in the way Jamie did it. Doug locked himself in and no matter what he said, Jamie could interject & interrupt and say repeat what he said and top it off w/ "this is your conscience."

Being a nikka that loves to go tit for tat against my funniest brehs and joking on each other - that shyt was masterful. Jamie was a Jedi in that clip. :lupe::whew:

-----------------------------------

Now, trying to analyze it as if this were some comedic final exam and we were in the place of Doug... How would yall try to get out of being the punchline and get the crowd on y'all side?

You'd have to hit small joke after joke playing on the whole conscience bit...

Jamie: [repeats what doug says] I'm your conscience.
Doug: *saying fast and loud* shyt, I'm thinking in Jamie Fox voice.
Jamie [repeats what doug says] I'm your conscience.
Doug: A nikka might start wearing a dress for a movie deal now.
Jamie [repeats what doug says] I'm your conscience.
Doug: Want to hear what a nikka sound like selling his manhood?
Jamie [repeats what doug says] I'm your conscience.
Doug: I'm gonna rock your world
Jamie ...
Doug: Hi my name LaWanda!
Jamie:....

That would still be luke warm but the only hope of flipping it.

shyt was brutal.
I mean Jamie had the status and crowd already on his side, and the momentum.:patrice:

Doug could've went at Jamie trying to get attention or some personal petty shyt about a rumor of Jamie being a battyboy or some shyt

Classic stuff. Hilarious.

But it might be the only time Jamie Foxx made me laugh.
I didn't care for him on In Living Color, and...while this may be heresy on the coli, I didn't really like The Jamie Foxx show either. I occasionally watched it only to glimpse at Garcelle Beauvais.
Exactly

Plus dude acts way too feminine
And his whole comedy is just name dropping celebrities
Plus he makes a lot of self hating comments

Check out I Might Need Security and Straight From The Foxxhole.

Jamie type underrated as a comedian and as an actor. I argue with my friends often that Jamie is the better actor between him and Will Smith (And I stand by that statement)

Jamie had a lot of time with the Wayans and his own sitcom. This nikka is an on the spot comedian. You can throw him in a lot of situations and he'll come up with something. That's the disadvantage Doug had. That's why we haven't seen much of him since. He would have brushed it off and came back if he had the ability.

Jamie got in his feelings a bit & you can tell that bit about him finally breaking thru got to him a bit.

He did the same thing with Kevin Hart except Kevin Hart had way better clapbacks than this Doug dude.:ehh:

It used to get heated whenever Kevin was on Foxxhole radio, not just with Foxx but the other comedians there. This was just before Kevin was really famous. Post Soul Plane.

He used to go at Jamie's hairline or lack of it.

This where improv and crowd control can save u but jamie is the best at it. I dont know what happened behind the scenes but from the video it didnt seem like enough for jamie to murder him like that. When your a small timer and decide to go at a bigger star u gotta go hard not some love tap shyt like that.

:russ:

And there was no in-house audience so Jamie couldnt use star power to gain momentum

And it was also uncensored so Kevin had all the freedom a comedian needed

So I dont know why Jamie keep comparing the situations like he didnt have a clear advantage against Doug

Not gone stop me still watching it though. Shyt was :scusthov:

yeah, Jamie ain't even all THAT funny to me.... but in that clip, it was like a god doing battle with a mere mortal

but sometimes when you think back on it, it's :mindblown: cause I remember looking at the vid of him and Kevin Hart, waiting for a Doug Williams moment

and Jamie sounded ridiculous :dahell:

I don't even think Hart is funny AT ALL (I can't stand that little negro) but it was like, Jamie sounded ridiculous trying to go at him
