Breh, Just Blaze had nikkas thinking KC was gonna break the universe off of Oh My God and Show Me What You Got....
Then i heard this bullshyt on the album
I like that song a lot. I didn't hear the album til a few yrs ago. I had taken a long ass break from smokin weed n got focused on my shyt. The Superfly intro was nice cuz the fukk nga was basically sayin, Y'all say all my albums is about hustlin, well okay, here's somethin different.
It's funny cuz fukk Nga is super dee duper arrogant with the ballin rhetoric, but on this album it was arrogance to the nth degree when u think about it. U can't really feel that album unless ur either a rich nga or a nga on the road to riches who just decided to leave fgt ass ngaz behind n only roll with the winners. It represents a different mindset, a more strategic way of thinking. More so going for the money rather than props. Like Jordan with the fadeaway rather than leaping from the freethrow line with a gold chain on.
Like, if ur in ur nice whip on the way to the store to buy blenders n organic heart healthy food then swing by a female friend's house to meet up n have wine n hors d'oeuvres with her n her husband n a few friends while wearing hard bottoms n khakis u know what this album is about.
I know I definitely wouldn't be able to appreciate it or understand it if I was still on some knucklehead shyt at the time. It's really hard to explain if u never did nxt lvl gangsta shyt before n decided to chill. The Superfly clip explains it better, actually. U try n tell ngaz how to get it legitimately n how ur changing n basic shyt don't excite u no more, n some ngaz is down with the plan n others jest let it go in one ear n out the other.
Then after ur ship comes in, them same doubting Thomas fgt ngaz is blowin ur phone up hopin u come thru n hit em off with some bread for a sack. They don't even realize that u done started smokin top shelf with nxt lvl ngaz n sippin expensive shyt at the end of the day n ur NEVER comin back thru for em again. They don't realize they fukking blew it n they'll never see u again.
I used to listen to "Why I Love You" from WTT when I would get word back from hoes n these ngaz' family members about them hatin on me n actin like I never did shyt for em. Then I would turn up whatever song that was where fukk Nga was like, "2 seats in the 911, no limit on the black card..." n start thinkin bout my money n my goals n shyt n jest get hype.
But to me, KC represents leaving loser fgt dumb ngaz behind n moving on to new challenges n realizing ur true potential as a taxpayer rather than an outlaw.
