How did he even get the roster spot? Was Toronto and Charlotte looking for a way to draw in fans? Was P basketball hype that legit that teams wanted to give him a serious look?

One of them franchises should of gave him a reserve spot, for the culture. He was in his early 30’s at the time so but he wasn’t all that

every year teams have some sort of camp/try out/walk on day.. it's usually filled with people who are invited like undrafted rookies, foreign players, pro-am league stars. he just happened to get plugged in, cause he did play college ball and was kinda nice.. you notice you don't see stars out there playing.
as good as these clips look, dude wasn't good enough to be 15 on a real roster.. but dammit he played in the nba
