It’s crazy how much I used to be a diehard Mortal Kombat addict but now there’s no way I could bring myself to even touch such a fighting game :scust:

Years of playing realistic fighting games such as UFC 4/5, and Fight Night- combined with actually training martial arts in real life, has completely ruined any kind of fun experience I could possibly have playing a Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Tekken, etc type of game.

Even just thinking about playing them; with all those abilities to shoot fireballs, perform triple jumps in mid air, jumping off the sides of the screen/wall, teleporting…

Real martial artists love mortal kombat. Check youtube for their reaction videos to some of the techniques used by the mocap performers.
You might develop a greater appreciation. They essentially try to blend real arts with character to give every character their own unique style.
