He was I believe, but here is the catch with technical degrees (I have 3 of them) the longer you are out the field the harder it is to get hired. You don't want to be an engineer for example and haven't been working for 3 or 4 or 5 plus years. The chances you gonna get hired as an engineer are damn near zero.

That's how it works in tech. The pay is crazy but if you get laid off or decided to leave and not work for some years or go and be a stay at home parent for some years the chances of getting back in gets less and less every 6 months you are out of the game.
