Just look at his numbers and how he performed the 2 seasons after that playoff round vs. Dallas. It backs up the notion he was on one leg.

The real culprit for that series being a sweep was Lamar Odom being the one who fell the fukk off, and Pau Gasol going through a horrendous spell where he couldn't buy a bucket and was getting abused by Dirk down low. Bynum was also making a lot of mental errors and just generally getting outplayed by Tyson Chandler down low on defense and on the glass.

Kind of logic is this? Kidd was still a good defender when he came to the Garden and shot the ball very well for the 1st half of the season; doesn't mean he was in his prime. Duncan could have won Finals MVP this season; doesn't mean he's in his prime. Dirk wasn't in his prime in 2011 when he won Finals MVP.

Kobe shot 40% from the field in that series. Only thing he did better than Pau was average more ppg much more inefficiently; doesn't mean he was in his prime.
