:wtf: @ the bold, Wade was trash the entire series.

No, he wasn't. He averaged 19.6 on 47.6% shooting. Lj averaged 25.3 on 44.7% shooting.

Wade only played poorly in games 2 and 6.

He played well in game 5 (4 turnovers but 10 assists, 4 rbs, 1 stl, 2 blks, 25pts on 45% shooting). He played well in game 7 (4 turnovers and 1 ast but 10 rbs, 1 stl, 2 blks, 23pts on 52.4% shooting). He was excellent in game 4 (32pts on 56% shooting, 4 assists, 6 rbs, 6 stls, 1 blk,).

Kobe wasn't healthy that year. He was clearly on one leg winding down that regular season and in the playoffs vs us.

Just look at his numbers and how he performed the 2 seasons after that playoff round vs. Dallas. It backs up the notion he was on one leg.

The real culprit for that series being a sweep was Lamar Odom being the one who fell the fukk off, and Pau Gasol going through a horrendous spell where he couldn't buy a bucket and was getting abused by Dirk down low. Bynum was also making a lot of mental errors and just generally getting outplayed by Tyson Chandler down low on defense and on the glass.

This sums up the series for the Lakers:

Nowitzki took away paus manhood in front of our eyes :damn:

i thought kob bryant was 1st team all nba in 2011. I guess that means he received an award he didn't deserve.

2013??

G4 Wade was better, G5 dead even, G3 was slight edge DWade and G1, G2, G6, & G7 LeBron was better

LeBron's 7 assists in G2 = 19 points / 5 3s made

Only time Wade outplayed LeBron in the finals was 2011

G3 was much more than a "slight" edge. Wade had 2 more steals and shot 46.7%, while Lj shot 33.3%.

G5 wasn't even. Lj shot 36% from the field to Wade's 45.5%. Wade had 10 ast to Lj's 8 (and Wade isn't even the primary ball-handler; Lj is). Wade shot 83% from the ft line to Lj's 77%.

G6 - Lj was 42% on 26 attempts, hurting his team much more than Wade's 40% on 15 attempts. Lj also had 6 turnovers.

G7 was even: Wade shot 52.4% from the field to Lj's 52.2% (Lj only had more points because he took 2 more shots and had 6 more fta's, so that he would look like the hero; you know how the NBA does it). Wade had 10 rbs to Lj's 12 (and rightly so; Lj's taller and bigger). Wade had 2 blks to Lj's 0. Wade had 1 stl to Lj's 2. Wade had 4 turnovers to Lj's 2. Wade had 1 ast to Lj's 4 (and rightly so; Lj is the primary ball-handler).

Wade's defense is always better than Lj's. Green went off from 3, but was locked down in game 7 and Kawhi had a much better series against Lj than Green did against Wade.

:dahell: Kind of logic is this? Kidd was still a good defender when he came to the Garden and shot the ball very well for the 1st half of the season; doesn't mean he was in his prime. Duncan could have won Finals MVP this season; doesn't mean he's in his prime. Dirk wasn't in his prime in 2011 when he won Finals MVP.

Kobe shot 40% from the field in that series. Only thing he did better than Pau was average more ppg much more inefficiently; doesn't mean he was in his prime.

Dirk was better in 2011 than he was in his MVP season that's what I know. 2011 Durk was scoring on Serge Ibaka and whoever in front of him with ease while Durk back them would get bothered by Udonis Haslem and Baron Davis

:mjlol1: Not you, baby!

What I meant to say is, it's not the peak of his prime but it's still prime. I think prime is 27/28-32/33.

For example: Melo is in his prime. KD not yet.
In what world is your 15th season part of your prime? Prime = best years of your career. How many players have their best years at that age?
